USAID Empowered Children and Adolescents Program II (ECAPII)

PCZ is implementing the five-year (October 2020-September 2025) USAID ECAP II program funded by USAID with support from PEPFAR. PCZ, as the prime partner, led the implementation of the USAID ECAP II project in 16 districts in Central and Southern Provinces of Zambia and reached over 100,000 VCA and their caregivers.

Empowered Children and Adolescents Program Plus (ECAP+)

Funded by the Helmsley Charitable Trust, PCZ is implementing the three-year – June 2023 to May 2026 – ECAP+ as a complementary program to the USAID ECAP II program. Through ECAP+, PCZ expanded the ECAP model to hotspots with high HIV incidence in 6 USAID ECAP II districts.

GAVI Full Portfolio Planning (FPP)

PCZ, in partnership with the Churches Health Association of Zambia (CHAZ) and with funding from Gavi-The Vaccine Alliance, implemented the Full Portfolio Planning (FPP) immunization project in Mumbwa and Shibuyunji Districts. Its goal was to reduce vaccine preventable diseases in under 5 children by focusing on demand creation and community engagement. This initiative aims to boost vaccination coverage among children and vulnerable groups, and address gaps in immunization services consequently reducing the number of zero-dose children by 35% by 2025

MALARIA - Community Led Monitoring (CLM)

Project Concern Zambia (PCZ), in partnership with the Churches Health Association of Zambia (CHAZ) and Development Aid from People to People (DAPP), is implementing the Malaria Community-Led Monitoring (CLM) Project, funded by the Global Fund (May 2024- Dec 2026) DAPP serves as the Sub-Recipient (SR), while PCZ acts as the Sub-Sub-Recipient (SSR). The Malaria CLM initiative aims to enhance malaria services' accessibility, availability, affordability, acceptability, and quality. By engaging communities in monitoring, the project ensures services are responsive to their needs and promotes transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
