What we do

Our mission is to empower communities in Zambia to enhance health, protect and nurture girls, end hunger, and overcome hardship.

Project Concern Zambia (PCZ) is dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable children and adolescents in Zambia. PCZ focuses on several key areas, including health, girls and women, hunger, and hardship. PCZ implements various projects and programs to address these issues, such as the USAID Empowered Children and Adolescents Program II (ECAP II), the Empowered Children and Adolescents Program Plus (ECAP+), and the Chimwemwe Teens! Meaningful Youth Engagement program. PCZ takes a comprehensive approach to addressing the needs of vulnerable children and adolescents, working to address the root causes of poverty and inequality while also strengthening community systems. In 2023, PCZ reached over 100,000 vulnerable children, adolescents, and their caregivers with comprehensive HIV, health, and socioeconomic services.
