Key Accomplishments
In 2023, PCZ reached over 100,000 vulnerable children, adolescents, and their caregivers with comprehensive HIV, health, and socioeconomic services.PCZ successfully implemented the USAID ECAP II program, improving the resilience and health outcomes among vulnerable children and adolescents. Through the ECAP+ program funded by the Helmsley Charitable Trust, PCZ expanded the ECAP model to underserved districts in Western Province.
PCZ also finalized and validated a Proof of Concept to demonstrate the feasibility of engaging adolescents in HIV prevention and sexual and reproductive health programming. Furthermore, PCZ strengthened collaboration with Public Social Protection Programs to alleviate poverty for households with vulnerable children and adolescents. Lastly, PCZ fully migrated Case Workers from the paper-based Case Management System to the electronic Case Management System, facilitating electronic documentation and data analysis for decision-making.
Project Concern Zambia (PCZ) is a local NGO with demonstrated capacity to prime a major donor award of Pover $20million and reaching over 100,000 participants in 19 districts and three provinces.
